When the World Poker Tour was aired for the first time on the Travel Channel in 2002, it became a real phenomenon. Each episode features some of the best professional poker players in the world, battling it all out for some of the biggest prizes you’ll see in poker tournaments. The show is co-animated by WSOP bracelet winner Mike Sexton and actor Vince Van Patten.

However, you can bet that the pros and the color commentators are not the only reason people tune in weeks in and weeks out.
